Aims and Objectives of the WAFGA
- To develop West Australian facilities for game hunting by the promotion of game conservation and management projects.
- To inform and educate field sportsmen in the value and ethics of their sport.
- To co-operate with government departments for the benefit of all.
- To foster good relations with land holders.
- To promote good sportsmanship and fellowship amongst members
- To promote public appreciation of the activities of the Association.
- To instruct and promote the safe handling of firearms.
- To ensure the rights of West Australian hunters to own and use firearms.
- To organise and run social and competitive shooting including State, National and International events.
